• Vector file formats: .cdr, .eps, .ai, .ps, .dxf, .dwg  Best choices are Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator files.
• Bitmap file formats: .tif, .bmp, .jpg, .gif.
• Text file formats: .txt, .doc, .wps, .xls

Important things to do:

• Bitmap resolution- 300 dpi minimum, 600 dpi preferred —at the size to be engraved.

• We must have a faxed or printed out copy of your artwork so we can verify your art opens properly on our system.
• Please indicate the size to engrave.
• Convert all fonts to curves.
• Give us the names of any special font preferences.
• Photograph engravings; we prefer to scan your actual original, so please mail them to us. They will be returned unharmed. Digital photos will work if high resolution.
• Name lists are preferred in a plain text (.txt) file format. One name per line, no tabs or padding with spaces please.
• Tell us what program and version your file came from.
• PC or Mac format? ( PC is highly preferred )

Sending options:

• email your file to artwork@laseraccents.com 
• Mail your art/logos on paper for us to scan.
• Mail it to us on a PC format disk. ( Don't forget the paper print out for reference )

We use CorelDraw ver. 12 for most of our engraving layouts. Some routing and control panel work is done with AutoCAD ver. 2000. We use MS Word for text files. We will try to convert/open others but cannot guarantee the results.
